Republican Women’s Caucus Applauds House Vote to Release Remaining Jeffrey Epstein Files

November 18, 2025

Washington, D.C. — Today, the Republican Women’s Caucus, led by Co-Founder and Co-Chair Rep. Kat Cammack (FL-03), issued the following statement after House Republicans voted in favor of a petition to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) urging the release of the remaining Jeffrey Epstein files, delivering long-overdue transparency and accountability:

“Before today’s vote, I sat down with survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s heinous crimes, and it’s their courage that brought us to this moment,” said Congresswoman Kat Cammack (FL-03). “For years, these women have carried the burden of these atrocities while others tried to hide the truth. We voted for full transparency because this is about standing with survivors, exposing the truth, and finally ending the decades of cover-ups that protected Epstein and his powerful allies.”

“I am heart-stricken for every young woman who endured horrific abuse at the hands of Epstein and his accomplices," said Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz (TX-15). "Today, I stood alongside the survivors by voting to reveal the truth and release the Epstein files. Every person who committed these heinous crimes must be held accountable and brought to justice.”

"Jeffrey Epstein was a disgusting pedophile. I've always been for full transparency and accountability for anyone who was involved in his exploitation ring," said Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-02). "We must protect the victims and seek the full truth and justice. I am 100% committed to that, voted in favor of releasing all of the files, and support continuing all investigative efforts.”

“House Republicans through the Judiciary and Oversight Committees, have conducted interviews, issued subpoenas, and released more than 65,000 documents — including tens of thousands of pages from the Epstein Estate — as part of our commitment to full transparency," said Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11). "Today we passed bipartisan legislation to release the remaining Epstein files. Once again, we are the party of full transparency, delivering today what could have been done four years ago under the previous administration.”

“Republicans have delivered unprecedented transparency, while Democrats have just played political games with victims to delay the American people’s agenda,” said House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (MI-09). "With this vote, we’re ending the obstructionism and clearing the floor to once again drive Republicans’ affordability agenda.”

“Today’s vote was about one thing: the truth,” said Congresswoman Maria Elvira Salazar (FL-27). “I voted YES because truth is power, and the American people deserve all of it. The victims of Epstein’s horrific crimes deserve justice, and justice cannot exist in the dark. No one should be above the law, not the rich, not the powerful, and not the politically connected.”

“Following years of the Biden Administration suppressing the release of information concerning Jeffrey Epstein and his crimes against an untold number of women, the Trump Administration has been steadily sharing more information with the American public," said Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne (TX-24). "With this vote today, hopefully all information that doesn't needlessly expose other victims will be released for the American public to review and scrutinize for themselves.”

Background:
The American people deserve to know the full truth, and House Republicans took decisive action to make that happen.

Meanwhile, Democrat leaders continue to dodge accountability for their long-standing political and financial ties to Jeffrey Epstein, including:

  • Del. Stacey Plaskett (D–U.S. Virgin Islands) solicited and received $30,000 in Epstein-linked contributions for the DCCC after his conviction and personally accepted maxed-out donations from Epstein.
  • Additionally, Del. Plaskett took direct instruction from Epstein during a Congressional hearing with the intent to target President Trump.
  • Former President Bill Clinton flew on Epstein’s aircraft 26 times, and both an Epstein victim and a former top Clinton aide confirmed seeing him on Epstein’s island.
  • A number of prominent Democrats and left-leaning public figures maintained relationships with Epstein even after his conviction, including:
    • Larry Summers, former Harvard President and Clinton Treasury Secretary
    • Katie Couric, who dined at Epstein’s residence after his jail time
    • Reid Hoffman, Democrat megadonor who visited Epstein’s island and attended private dinners with him
  • The DNC refused to return $32,000 in Epstein-linked donations.
  • Democrat-aligned author Michael Wolff reportedly encouraged Epstein to “blackmail Donald Trump” during the 2016 election cycle.
This is unacceptable. The Republican Women’s Caucus will continue to expose the truth, support survivors, and hold accountable anyone who enabled, excused, or benefited from Epstein’s abuse.
